I’ve always advised my clients to use their dot com as their business e-mail address (See my post from 4/3 too!) and helped to guide them on configuring their e-mail program so that the From: field displayed their information properly and professionally. Not to mention that every time someone sees your e-mail address it’s not all that difficult to find your site — soft sell!
Today I read a very interesting Blog article that brings home just how important the From: field is in not only helping to get your e-mail opened but in your ongoing branding efforts.
Check it out and let me know what you think!
